If there is one thing in life that I’m certain of , it’s that pet owners love talking about their animals.   I know I do!

I love telling stories about my Boo’s and I’m pretty sure you have a some great Boo stories of your own to tell.

I’ve never met a pet owner, that hasn’t referred to their fuzzy, feathery or scaley family member as Boo in some form or other.

So many Boo names to choose from:

  • Boo Boo
  • Mr./Mrs. Boo
  • BooBookins
  • Boo Bear
  • Fuzzy Boo
  • Boo Beast…it goes on and on.

Boo’s come in all species, shapes and sizes.   All pet lovers are welcome to spread their tales of Boo Adventure!

Add images and videos of your Boo.  Tell us all about them!

Once you register with MyNameisBoo, you will automatically be given the status of Contributor.  Which means you will be able to upload images & write your own Boo stories for everyone to see on MyNameisBoo.com.

At first post will need to be approved by My Name is Boo before being published.  Once we get to know you, your account will be upgraded to Author.  The “Author” status allows you to write and publish your posts immediately.

Don’t be shy, register and start telling us all about your Bootacular stories!

How do I add an image to my posts?

MyNameisBoo utilizes a script called phpThumb to automatically resize images. Whenever you make a new post you will need to add a custom field. Scroll down below the text editor and click on the “custom fields” link. In the “Name” section, input “Thumbnail” (this is case sensitive). In the “Value” area, input the url to your thumbnail image. Your image will automatically be resized and cropped.

Once your post is published your image will show up in the post and in the image gallery on the homepage of MyNameisBoo.

How do I upload my pets picture?

In step 6 if you are only adding a single image to your post you only need to click save changes. You only need to click insert to post when you are adding more than 1 pet picture.

Feel free to preview your posts and see what they will look like once they are published.

I dress my Boo’s up all the time.  There isn’t a pet in our home that is safe from being dressed up.  It’s their own fault for being so darn cute.

I have 1 Dog-A-Boo (Lucas) and 2 Cat-A-Boo’s (Lex and Luna).

Lucas AKA Mr. Boo has been just about every place dogs are not allowed.
