There comes a time in a cats life, when you have to ask yourself…What exactly are the things that really matter?

I’ve been turning this question around in my head all day long. Doing some really, really hard thinking…trying to figure out what really matters in my life.

After digging down deep and really done some soul searching. I can only come to one logical conclusion…

I love me some boxes!

There’s really nothing better than a brand new box. There’s just so much to do with and in a box.

Nap
Ambush
Scratch
Gnaw
Face Rub
Back Rub
Leap In.
Leap Out.
Peek at People.
Swat at People.

When you get down to the nitty gritty of it, boxes are some of people’s very best creations. Boxes Matter!

Fling-ama-String Rocks!

Fling-ama-String is one of the few cat toy purchases that I am insanely happy about. I have finally found a cat toys that both of my cats love. Take it out of the box, shove some batteries in it, hang it on a door and get ready to laugh your tail off. I know I did.

The inner workings are pretty simple, even though my cat Lex is constantly in deep thought trying to figure it out. You can see his little kitty brain working overtime, trying to figure out how it all works. The Fling-ama-String hangs on your door, while a mini conveyor belt winds the plastic string up and then “Flings” the string out to the floor and then back up.

Luna was attacking the Fling-ama-String before it was even turned. Lex watched it very cautiously for the first 2-3 minutes and then WHACK ATTACK! He was running was paws to the wall.

Welcome to all of my fellow Boos. I am Feline Overlord Mittens. I am the ruler of everything I see…and be warned…if I see it, it is MINE.

I’m am sure you are all wondering why I would allow my human servant to share my sleeping quarters. Do not be alarmed, there has been no signs of a human coo. My servant girl has a broken hand and after numerous hours of brushing, I found her cast to be a quite useful scratching post.

I am simply rewarding my human for her ingenuity and foresight - more humans should take note and break limbs for their feline masters.

Puppy Friends Are Best

Lucas has had so many friends over the years, but even today his favorite dogs to meet are the breeds that he befriended when he was just a pup.

Madison, a Jack Russell Terrier was his very first friend. They loved to romp around the pond, chasing ducks and rolling in duck poo.

Lucas still see’s Madison from time to time and tails and nubs wag with vigor.

Have you ever gotten an email from a friend that you just couldn’t stop watching? Well, I definitely have and this is the most recent one.

I don’t know who the owner of this sleepy little kitten is, but she/he is so adorable in her waking up process that it just melts you and makes you smile.

How anyone can ever say it’s just a cat…or it’s just a dog.. is beyond me.

This little kitty is definitely someone’s special little boo. Thanks for putting it together whoever you are!

My New Friend Hairy

Mom, took this picture of me and Chip. He’s a pretty cool dude. I’d have taken it myself, but I can’t seem to figure out how to use the tripod.

I’ve recently gotten into taking pictures and I hardly ever see photos that look the way I see the world. I thought it was about time I gave everyone a glimpse of how the world looks to me.

When I went to my Uncles 40th birthday party I took my camera and started snapping away. I think people will start being more careful about turning their backsides to me, now that I’m camera ready.

Funny or Not Funny. If you’re a cat, I think you should fully disclose that information. I’m not 100% sure that you can be trusted.

Hanging Out with Mr. Boo – Cat Wisdom

Being an aloof lioness, I try not to show my excitement, but I just turned 1 year old! Happy Birthday to me! I had a really fun day. Mom, strapped a harness on me and took me and Lucas outside for some fun. I even got to have some yummy birthday kitty treats outside.

Mr. Boo didn’t even try to eat them…and he eats a lot.

Reflecting on my solid year of wisdom I have come to a few conclusions:

#1 – Time goes by way too fast (except for when everyone is sleeping and I’m bored), make sure you take the time to stop and smell the roses life offers.

#2 – Take time to strutt. Also taunting others and keeping just out of reach is a lot of fun.

#3 – Take pride in your appearance – I am absolutely gorgeous!

I’ll keep you posted if I gain more wisdom, but I’m pretty sure I’ve mastered everything by now.
